Student Life

Every year in the spring our secondary students, faculty, and staff gather at Camp Horne for a day of fun competition and camaraderie building. Students in grades 7-12 are divided equally into six teams with a senior captain for various fun competitions. The team goal is to win the coveted “Camp Horne Bowl.” A cookout lunch and inspiring challenge are also part of the day.

Elementary students compete in the Mercedes Marathon each year, a charity run for the Bell Center in Birmingham.

Community service is volunteer work done by a person or group of people that benefits others.It is a requirement for high school graduation at TCS, not to mention critical to the college application process. Community service can help many different groups of people: children, senior citizens, people with disabilities, even animals and the environment.
